Head of Library and Undip Press Mr. Suwondo, S.Hum., M.Kom. and his staff received a visit from the Hasanuddin University Library. This activity was held on Wednesday, 1 November 2023, on the 1st floor of the audio-visual room of the Undip Library building. Mrs. Andi Milu Marguna, S.Sos., M.M. as Head of the Hasanuddin University Library, said that there were two agendas for benchmarking activities for the UPT Library and Undip Press, namely how to develop librarians and infrastructure for the Library and Undip Press. On this occasion, he was accompanied by Hasanudin University Library librarians, namely Darmiati, S.Sos., M.M., Rosmini, A.Md., and Hatijah, A.Md.
Benchmarking carried out by the Hasanuddin University Library is an activity for learning, discussing, and understanding directly between the Library and Undip Press. Benchmarking can be a means of improving organizational performance in providing services. Mr. Sugiyanto S.Pd, representing Mr. Suwondo, S.Hum., M.Kom as Head of the Library and Undip Press, conveyed the vision and mission of the library and the strategies used in developing human resources for librarians whose role is currently shifting to research services. Mrs. Haryani, S.Sos, M.IP, added regarding the steps to change the role of librarians. Mr. Pujo Winarno, S.Kom, explained the integration of library systems for all faculties within Diponegoro University. The benchmarking activity ended with a library tour.
