The Library and Undip Press held a workshop on the use of e-journals. The workshop on using e-journals raised the title “Publishing your next paper: Analyzing trending topics and avoiding fake/cloned/predatory journals.” The function of e-journals in higher education is very important. E-journals can function as a medium of information, academic communication, and writing scientific references and research journals that the academic community needs. The existence of e-journals in higher education can support lecturers and students in supporting learning, research, and writing scientific research. The aim of holding this workshop is to study e-journals and how to use Scopus journals, ScienceDirect journals, and Elsevier for writing academic scientific papers.
On this occasion, Mrs. Sri Endah Pertiwi, chair of the activities committee, expressed her hope that this event would provide a deep understanding of the importance of using e-journals subscribed to by Undip to support research and scientific publications. Resource person Dr. Johan Jang (customer consultant Elsevier Southeast Asia) explained the use of Scopus journals, ScienceDirect journals, and Elsevier, analyzing trending topics and avoiding fake/cloned journalists, and predatory journals. The workshop activities took place in 2 sessions, namely the morning and afternoon sessions, with a total of 100 participants in each session. Participants who attended consisted of lecturers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students from Diponegoro University.
