The visit of the participants of the International Tropical Summer Course (ITROSCO) to UPT Library and Undip Press is part of the agenda for the 2023 ITROSCO Camp activities at Undip. The International Tropical Summer Course activity was attended by 17 participants from 17 countries, which was opened today, August 2, 2023, at the Undip Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences and will end on August 12, 2023. UPT Libraries and Undip Press, and Integrated Laboratories have become one of the agenda visits of participants of the International Tropical Summer Course to find out about the existing facilities at Diponegoro University.
In his remarks, the Head of Administrative Subdivision of the UPT Library and Undip Press, Sugiyanto, S.Pd, in his speech apologized to FPIK and the participants of the International Tropical Summer Course for the inconvenience during the visit to the UPT Library and Undip Press because it was still in stage 2 of physical construction/renovation, namely making the bridge between the Widya Puraya building and the UPT Library building. Even so, visitor visits are still the same. From May to August 2023, the UPT Library and Undip Press have received more than 22 visits from various Higher Education Libraries and several Library Services and Archive Services from both the Province and City/District.
On this occasion, summer course participants were given information regarding services available at the UPT Library and Undip Press. The activity continued with a library tour by dividing the participants into three groups. Each group is guided by a librarian and accompanied by a summer course supervisor. The first group was headed by Mrs. Haryani, S.Sos., M.IP and Mrs. Ima Wijayanti, S.Pi, M.Si, Ph.D. the second group was guided by Mrs. Romdha Nugrahani, S.Sos, and Mrs. Ulfah Amalia, S. Pi, M.Si, Ph.D., and the third group was conducted by Ms. Enny Anggraeny, S.S. and Rikha Widiaratih, S.Si., M.Sc.
